The-visitors led at the interval by 8 to 5, but superior combination among the Manly backs outpaced the New Zealanders in the second half. For Manly "Pyni scored two tries and Smith one, Mingay converting twice. For New Zealand. Rigg and Broilie scored tries, and Diaek converted one.
