THE SESSION.

WHEN WILL IT BE? By Telegraph—Press ' Association. WESTPORT, January 19. ■ This afternoon Mr IT. E. Holland, M.P., chairman of the Parliamentary Labour Party, telegraphed the following reply to the Prime Minister: — “Thanks for reply. I regret, however, that your telegram gives • no indication of the dato on which the Government will meet Parliament. I am confident that the public will disapprove of a heavily defeated Government neglecting to meet Parliament promptly. I am also sure the public will regard with the same astonishment as myself . that the December 7 verdict is interpreted to mean a victory for the Government.” •
