Subject to any necessary alterations mails will close as under :- — Registered letter mails close one hour and newspaper and parcel mails close 46 minutes earlier than ordinary letter mail. For Christchurch, North Canterbury, and Westland daily, at 6 a.m., Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 12.30 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 3.30 tun. For Dunedin and all southern offices daily at 11 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Invercargill daily at 11 a.m. For Oamaru and Wnimate daily at 6 a.m., 11 a.m., and 3 p.m. For North Island offices daily at 12.80 and 3.30 p.m. For Fairlie, Pleasant Point, etc., daily at 3.15 p.m., and on Monday only at 6 a.m. For Oamaru and Waimate daily at 0 a.m., and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 11. a.m., and at 3 p.m., on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
