MR E. D. MOSLEY’S SEVEN COURTS.

There can bo no such thing as a “ca’ canny” policy in tho magisterial life. Mr E. D. Mosley, S’M., lias just had added to his circuit the Metliven Court. Altogether Mr Mosley has now seven Courts to prosido over —Timam (a daily Court), Ashburton (weekly), Temuka and Waimato (fortnightly), and Geraldine, Fnirlie and Metlwen (monthly). Tho Magistrate announced in tho Court at Timaru yesterday that he would visit Metliven on tho fourth Thursday of ooch month. At present Thursday is tho day set apart for polico cases, hut His Worship explained that any urgent cases would ho taken on Mondays, ns lie could sit in Tiinaru on two Mondays of tho month.

In order to hold tho sitting at Mothven Mr Mosley will require to leave Timaru at 7.15 a.in. for Ashburton, arrive thero at 10.35 a.m., then motor 22 miles to Motbvon, arriving about noon. After the Court business is completed he will return to Ashburton, remaining there over night for the weekly sitting of that Court on tho Friday.
