A copy of Ihe ■ ;tos oj the Advisory Hoard of the dederation of Xew Zealand Patriotic War .Relief Societies (held in Wellington) was received anci considered.

Itevell) presented tlie following statement for the year ended September 30: —- Grants account “A” Fund £3638 10s sd, grants account “15” Fund £1035 16* lid, institute working expenses £2l 13s 4d, printing and stationery £4B Is 3d, salaries £352, general expenses £4B (is 9d, disabled soldiers’- homo £100(1: total £61.94 8s Bd. Income —Members’ subscriptions £lB/ 4s Sd, interest on investments £1230 5s 4d, excess of expenditure over income £4776 18s Bcf. A balance sheet was presented as follows:—

Liabilities.—Accumulated fund at September 30, 1920. £33,011 9s 9d, lees excess of expenditure over income £4776 18s Bd, £28,234 11s Id: sundry creditors £l4 13s 7d; total £28,249 4s Bd. , , Assets. —Uncollected members’ subscriptions £337 2s fid, casji in hands ot branches £l9l Ss Idj cash in bank £129 (Is 6d; investments. Now Zealand wav loan 191.6 41 per cent £2000; do. 1917 4?r per cent £1.2,500, freehold mortgage 5V per cent £3600; fixed deposits. 4 per cent £2000; Post Office Savings Rank £4000: advances to soldiers £1693 10s Bd. hills receivable £1407 14s lid; sundry debtors’ interest accrued, hut not yet due £393 Ss. The cliainnan read the report to be presented at the annual meeting, and this was approved. It was decided that the annual meeting should he held on I'nday, October 28, at 1.15 P-m.
