Mr Chamberlain indicated that Sir James Rodd, late Ambassador at Rome, will bo tho British delegate to the League of Nations Assembly. OPPOSITION LEADER REBUKED. LONDON, August 9. Lord Robert Cecil, in the House of Commons, questioned tho satisfactoriness of the British delegates to the League of Nations, belonging to tho purely official class. Ho declared that the Government’s action showed profound contempt for the League. The Speaker condemned Lord Robert Cecil’s remarks.
