The “New' York AYorld” reports the arrest of Roberto Gibario, charged with the theft of 136,000 dollars of the Russian Soviet’s funds. It is stated that a shortage of nearly 1,000,000 dollars was discovered in the'Soviet funds deposited in a New Y'ork bank. GANG OF AIAIL ROBBERS. The police are busy hunting down a gang of mail robbers and counterfeiters, whose alleged head is a man named John Worthington, and whose peculations total millions of dollars, including 1,000,000 from Toledo Bank, 300,000 from a Chicago Bank, 3,500.000 from Council Bluffs (Iowa) Bank. Among tho effects of the gang which the Government has seized w r ere nearly 500,000 dollars worth of its own bonds, iwhich have been identified as part of tho proceeds of the bank robberies.
