At the Grand Mart on Saturday afternoon ai freehold property consisting of a four-roomed cottage and 1 acre of land, situated in Hobbs Street, AYaimataifcai, was submitted t,> auction by A. Washer and Co. (per W. D. flume, auctioneer), on account of the executors in the estate of the late Mr Catlow. Bidding commenced at £l7O, and rose by .-£lO bids to £230, at which figure it fell -under the hammer to Mr D. Doyle. . Mr Hutchison's household furniture and effects were sold by auction, and a complete, clearance was effected at satisfactory prices.
