A DISLOYAL MEMBER. Re'cenved 9.25 p.m., March 30th. SYDNEY, March 30. The executive of the Political Labour League at a special meeting repudiated certain alleged disloyal statements made by Mr Brookneld, the recently elected member for Sturt, at Broken Hill; and asked him. to repudiate or wihdraw theiu, failing which to show cause why he should not be expelled from the movement, and not be allowed to sit at the Parliamentary Labour Caucus. - » - A PATRIOTIC COMPANY. At the annual meeting of the Mutual' Life and Citizens Assurance Company, the chairman stated that the company, in one way or another, had contributed upwards of five millions towards financing the war. He; announced that it was proposed to • make a patriotic appeal to policy holders to apply their share of the year's profits to the equipment of one or more brigades.of artillery for presentation to. our forces in the field, to be known as the M.L.C. Artillery fund. Those desiring may contribute a portion only of the year's profits or more than one year's.
