BURNSIDE MARKET. (Per Press Association.! ' DUNEDIN, March 28. At Burnside tliere was a medium yarding of fat cattle. Competition wag keen and prices advanced 10s to los. Best bullocks £l6 10s to £lB 15s extra £23 2s 6d, medium to good £l4 to £ls 30s; best cows and heifers £l2 to £l4 ss. medium £lO to £12.. others £9. S'ieep—263o were penned, a good proportion being of prime quality. For theSo prices _ showed Is 6d advance, inedium quality being firm at late rates. Best 'wetliers, 41s to 445, medium to good 35s to 38s: best ewes 39s to 41s, good §3s to 37s 6d. medium 29s to 31s Gd, others from 18s. Lambs.—l6o6 were penned. Competition -was keen and prices were equal to late rates _ . Pigs—A medium yarding. Fats elicited keen competition and last week's high rates ■ were maintained. There was a good yarding of stores which late rates.
