MAIL NOTICES.
At the Chief Post Office, Timaru, subject to any necessary alterations, mails will closo as under: — Registered letter mails- close ono hour, and newspapers and parcel mails closo 45 minuteß earlier than ordinary letter mails. For offices in North Island daily, 12.50 and 3.30 p.m. For Tcmulca, Goraldine, Ashburton, and Christchurch daily at 6 a.m., and 12.50 and 8.30 p.m. For Oamaru and Waimate, 6 a.m., 10.30 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Dunedin 10.30 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Invercargill, 10.30 a.m. For Fairlio, Pleasant Point, Cave, and Albury daily at 6 a.m., and 3.30 p.m. Mails for United Kingdom and Continent, of Europe, South Africa, Ceynon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Egypt and Australia, also parcel and letters for Expeditionary FForces mil be despatched from time to time by best route, without special notification.
