RIFLE CLUB.
FOE MT. NESSiXG DISTRICT. An enthusiastic meeting was held at Messrs \\ r;gh t Bros, residence, Mt. Nessing, on Wednesday evening, when it was unanimously decided to form a r;fle club on the settlement. The names of over thirty-five intending members were handed in, and judging by the enthusiasm displayed there should bo no doubt as to the success of tho club. A number of intending members spoke -in favour of a very suitable site, and if t'he owner of this ground wiii give his consent tho club w-ll acquire as fine and safe a range as could be possibly wished for. It is hoped that, intending members who Mere unavoidably absent from the meeting will endeavour to attend the next, when the election of officers w:ll take place. At the close of the meeting a hearty vote of thanks was passed to Miss and Messrs . "Wright "for their hcspitalitv.
