POULTRY SOCIETY.

THE COMING SHOW. The monthly meeting of the above society was held iii Hutchison's Rooms last evening, when ther-e was an -'.ttendance oj about twenty members, presided over uy~Mr S. R. Burns. The secretary, Air A. E. Izzard. mentioned that the schedule for the corning show was slightly incorrect, and a motion was passed that a, supplementary one be immediately printed. The Grocers Association wrote consenting to its individual members giving donations to the society.—This was in reply to an enquiry from the society's secretary, who, when he 'ipproached some of the members of the -Association, was informed that the consent of the whole association was required bafoi-e donations were allowed to be given.
