EXAMINATION RESULTS, Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. The following arc lists of candidates who, at tho Education examinations in December lnit qualified by examination for Junior National or Education Board's Junior Scholarships, in tho South Canterbury Education District, or for junior freo places in secondary schools, district high schools, and technical schools. List I contains the names of candidates taking scholarships papers who passed the examination. Tho names are arranged in order of merit, according to district.with the total marks gained bv candidates out of a possiblo total of "800. Candidates in this list, on satisfying the Education Board of their eligibility in other respects, ago included, will be eligible to receive scholarslups up to the limit of the number of -scholarships available. Those who do not roceive scholarships mas" receive junior free places. List II is supplementary; of tliose who qualified for junior, free places. List I—Mabel E.
