We remind those interested in the event that the Oamaru Show is to be held to-morrow and next day. There is always a contingent of Timarn visitors to tliis popular show. As usual excursion fares rule from Timaru and intermediate stations, and the evening return train will bo delayed, leaving Oamaru at 5.35 and reaching Timaru at 9 p.m. On Friday the morninn; train Timaru to Oamaru will run nearly an hour later than usual, leaving at 7.50 instead, of 7.5 a.m.

A committee meeting of the Timam Operatic Society, to make final arrangements i'or the comic opera season of "Boccaccio," will be held at the Society's room to-night at 8. MOll- - night's practice was an excellent one, and augured a great success for the production of the opera. Mr 10. E. Tasker announces in this issue that he Jias taken over the ITair]io Hotel.
