CAROLINE BAY.
To the Editor of the "Timaru Herald." Sir, —I write to thank you for inserting "Arrow's" letter ill to-d.?,y'j issuo. I have cause to know it is important, as my little girl has ccme home with a had cut got when bathing this afternoon. Still there is a charge made for the sheds. Ido hope, sir, that the Council may see its way to put up sorno rough shads where school children can dress without paying a fee. Let those who can afford it get thoij separate sheds. Tho mothers of families will bo only too pleased to let their children hatha daily if they art not taxed for it by having to pay foj each one a fee to use a shed. I he:u my hint of last summer has not been made use of. ' I still think a rope from some place (say a bathing machine) attached to the raft would be an advantage to beginners and nor votis swimmers. A lady was very nearly drowned last summer for want, of it, and I am sure the children would use it eonstautlv.—T am. etc. "A CI-UKL AMANG YE." '
