A number or the hoys have obtained first-class Scqut badges, Patrolleaders R. Simmers, McDonald and Hamilton, of No. i. troop, parsing the above,- some qualifying as musicaiis, ambulance and pioneers. TroopSergt. IL. Pope, No. H., and A. Buchanan No. Ul., did good work iu ambulance for the lirst-ciass badge, whilst a number of boys in No. Hi. have had a shot for efficiency badges.

Mr Frazer, manager of the Rathe Pictures, kindly invited the Boy Scouts to his entertainment last Tuesday evening. The boys on their arrival at tli6 Theatre were all ushered into the dress circle, and enjoyed the series of pictures shown, one him being Lord Kitchener reviewing liny Scours in Dunedin. At the conclusion of 'be entertainment the boys gave the "Scouts' Rally," as a compliment to Mr Fraacr, for his thoughtful action in inviting them to liis much appreciated pictures. Tiiere will bo a meeting of the Display Committee (Scoutmasters, Assistants and Non.-Corns) on Friday evening, at the schoolroom, at S p.m., to decide the allocation of the money realised at the display.
