A Wanganui message says— Vk* Hon. J. A. Millar visited Wanganui yesterday. He was occupied th« whole afternoon with deputations dealing mainly with local matters. Mr J. Dockrill leaves T'imaru toda-y to represent tho South Canterbury Journeymen Bakers at ihe annual conference of the- Bakers' Federal Union. Miss Mailing, the teacher at Clandebove. being about to leave for the Winchester school, a meeting of Chmdoboye residents determined to invite her to a fazewell social on the 30th.
