The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following cable message Irani their London House, under data fath inst.: "Tallow—Wo quote present spot values for the following descriptions—Good mutton 35s 6d per cwt, good beef 34s <Jd ner cwt, mixed 35a per cut; market dull."
Messrs Dalgoty ajid Co. report under date London, Juno t'Bh:—"Prices of tallow on spot are lower- by 6d per date London, June Sth :—"Prices of of light frozen mutton are higher by id per lb and other descriptions are in better demand, the market beinff firm at last quotations. Thero is a good demand for frozen lamb, th» prices of Canterbury being higher try; •id per lb and North Island by id per lb. For frozen beef the demand has been checked by the increased prices asked; prices of hindquarters ara lower by id to id and forequartere 1»T id to id."
