The Kittawa arrived yesterday from Groyir.outb, and after discharging 148,CQOft of timber sailed for Lyttelton. The Puhaki was expected from Oamaru last evening to load for the usual barquentine Alexn, from Claience River, entered the harbour at o p.m. yesterday, and will discharge timber for the ne.r wiiari. The D?von loads wool ana meat at Timaru next month for Home. The Tainui. Captain Moffatt. now on her fourth voyage from London is to visit Timaru on 11th March to load frozen meat, wool, and other nroduce. Messrs Dalgety and Co. are the lceal ncents. The Tainui it will b.° remembered, created a great deal of interest when making her first appearance in these waters, and was regarded as one of the finest possenser and cargo steamers in the Bcmi;iion-Lcndon_ trade. She has again made a name for herself this voyage, having arrived at Hobart three days ahead of timetable —a splendid performance.
