A boiler on tne "United States cruiser North Carolina, at Naples, burst, killing an officer named Stewart. CAUGHT IN A FENCE. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, July 13. .John Meliurnev, a middle-aged man, was found on Sunday banging with his bead between tbo pickets of a fence, in Main Street cast. Ho was alive when extricated, but died this morning in the hospital, it is supposed, as the result of a fit. BTJRIED AT SEA. "WELLINGTON, July 13. Elizabeth Ciu'nmoek, aged .17, who was coming with her parents from Scotland to Wellington. l>y the steamer. Athenic, died from pneumonia last Sunday and was buried at sea yesterday.
