' AN ARREST. Per Press Association. - PALMERSTON N,, June 30. On the arrival of the Wairarapa train this afterDpon Dectcctive Quirk (irresfced Michael Brennan, alleged to I>e an old offender, on suspicion of being connected with the robbery from All Saint's Vicarage, Wellington, on Tuesday. Brennan liad -a through ticket to Auckland and was evidently intending to go on by the main, trunk express. He had £l3 in cash upon him and three gold rings, two gold pencils, four brooches, four r>airs °f gold sleeve links and various other gold articles, - alleged to he identical witii the articles missing by the Rev. MiJohnson.
