CRICKET

A mixed team from the Timaru Club visited Temuka on Thursday and played a most enjoyable game with the local players. Timaru batted first, and thanks to the efforts of Bain, Mansell, and Campbell compiled 153 for 5 wickets, —the innings being then declared. Temuka totalled 65, Adcock being the only double scorer (15). Leslie O'C'allaghan secured 7 wickets for 24 and Bain 2 for 17.
