The "Waihora, from Newcastle, ar- ' rived at "Wellington last Friday, and should be here nwst week with a cargo of coal. ' . The Corinna, from Dunedm, should be here this morning. She has 30 tons of general cargo, and loads for Wellington, New Plymouth and Onehung'a, sailing this afternoon. .The steamer Cornwall left Picton on Saturday morning for Timaru, and is expected here, early, this morning to • load frozen meat and a quatity of qats for West "of England ports. The Waikare, on arrival from the south to-day, reported that at 4.3 a.m. a-vessel , was passed 39 miles north of Lyttelton Heads, signalling " Not under control." The signals were answered, but as no request was made for assistance, the Waikare came on. It was a Union Company's boat, but her identity was not ascertained. _ The weather at the time was fine, with a slight wind. The Arapawa arrived here at. 4 o'clock this afternoon, and reoorted having seen no sign of any other vessel. "
