TEACHERS' SUPERANNUATION.

MEETING OF THE BOARD.

Per Press Associating. AVELLINGTOX, Jan. 19. A credit balance of £80.718 was reported in connection with the teacners' superannuation fund at to-day's meeting of the Board, when the' Hon. Dr Findlay presided. Six retiring contributors and one retiring medically unfit were' granted pensions, while three pensions to widows of deceased pensioners and tnree to widows of deceased contributors were also authorised. The receipts for the quarter .ended December 31st amounted to £'t>4t)3, making a total of £83,084 for the year, and refunds and allowances amounting to £2466 for the quarter left a balance as alrpady stated.
