Press Telegraph-Copyright ESCAPE OF PRISONERS. SYDNFA', Jan. 19. Three prisoners escaped fron* Castlemaine gaol. By some mysterious means the doors of- their cells were opened during the night. The prisoners are still at large. CHIEF JUSTICE' DARLEY. Chief Justice Darley has been given twelve months' leave of absence- prior to his retirement. The Cabinet has decided to legislate next session with regard' to the control of all' boxing contests,' ""Stringent restrictions will be applied in the meantime. The bodies of two men- named Colin Ross and his son Donald have been found near Bridgetown, shot through the heads. There are indications that while having tea, Donald, who had been drinking heavily,' shot his father, and then himself.
