Joseph Racke,.an undergraduate at Bonn University, and son of a millionaire at Mayence, spent. Cliristrn?is at his home. He rose-at 2 o'clock the following nmrning, and stealthily stabbed to deatli his sleeping. father ami three sisters. So quietly was the :iv\ it'll erime committed thai the remainder nf the household was not disturbed. Racke returned to his bed and slept until the discovery of the deed in the morning. The crime is attributed to Racke's father refusing him large sums of money.
