SENSATIONAL STATEMENT. CLUBS AND DRINKING. Press Association-By Telegraph -Cop: -igitr Received 1.10 a.m.,.Dec. 10th. ADELAIDE, Dec. 9. Mr Wilson, a Labour 'member,'. made a sensational statement >iir regard to the amount of drinking at Mildura, where there are .no hotels. He said that he found four clubs there. In the workmen's club he;. drinking, and saw more drink consumed there than he ever saw in one place in ins life. He thought that drinking in a foul den in 'Frisco be fore the fire could not have, been worse than what he, saw at the workmen'* club.
