At the Napier Golf Club's annual amateur championship meeting to-day, in the final for the men's championship, KurupaTareha beat Barraud by 5 up and 3 to play. TEMUKA v. TIMARU. The match, Timaru v. Temuka, -w?s played on Saturday afternoon on the links at * Temuka. An enjoyable time was spent, the visitors being most hospitably entertained. The scores' were as 'follows— Tu. Tka. H. McKenzie v. Fawkner v. G. X. Feiiden 0 1 Totals '■ 3 3 On Friday the Temuka Ladies' Golf Club visited Waimafe to try conclusions with Waimate. A pleasant game, marred somewhat by a strong breeze, resulted in a win for Temuka. Miss Aebwell won a trophv presented for best score, with 53 for the round. The visitors were afterwards entertained at Evans' tea rooms.
