Temuka forwards were much heavier than- their opponents, wlio, however, showed much beuter form and pace and their dribbbng was a treatl >to witness. In consequence of off-side playby Temuka E. bulb van' placed a neao goal. Temuka then put great energy into i>heir play and the carried the ball at toe into the vicinity of Celtic goal where Gillespie snatched the ball up and scored, thereby - equalising the points. Star v. Point (Referee, Mr J* O'Leary)—Star outclassed' their -opponents'/from the start, and in tie- first half did some pretty pasmg. .Celtic 111. v. Star lll.—This match was played on the Athletic Grounds and prov-. Ed rather an, easy .victory for Celtic, who had tiho advantage in weight, and , pace. Mr Shirtcliffe gave his usual satisfaction as referee. The Main School and Marist are now equal at the head cf the eenior competition, and as all games - are finished, they will, require to play off, which they will probably do on baturday mornhig.
