CHRISTCHURCH, July 9. A " Truth "■ representative sought the opinions of theatrical managers on the municipal enactment that in local places of amnsement every seat in the house shall be numbered, and thail every patron paying for admission shall be given a ticket bearing a" number corresponaing with the seat he shall occupy. Four managers were interviewed, and they all stated that the by-law would be unworkable.
