The Bradford market is strong, and there is a good inquiry; forties, lOd; fortysixes,. ll£d: common sixties, 22d; super, 23d. The London sales will clo.'-e on May 29th. The sales include the Oamaru clip at and the Ohaka at 13|d. The wheat markets are depressed owing tc> large arrivals off coaet, and fine weather. Prices ai'e fairly .steady, but there is no activity: 37s 9d is asked for Victorian January shipment, and 37s 6d for South Australian February shipment; 37s 2d has been paid for a * .steamer parcel (April shipment.) There is a fair demand for Australian wheat <>n >p"t at 39s to 4Cs.
Flour is dull: Avislralian on spot is offering in London at 26s to 26s 6d ; Glasgow. 28s. Butter.—Danish, Ills to 112e. Victorian is exhausted. There is a fair inquiry for New South Wales and Queensland" at 96s to 1000s. There are some complaints that the Ortona's shipment is apple tainted. i
