ATTACK DURING A STORM. THE REBELS LOSE HEAVILY. Pre*' \«»o(-i)»tinn-Bv Teleirrapb-Onpyright Received 9.50 p.m., May 18th. CALCUTTA, May 18. The Mohmands attacked a picket at Darwagagai during a midnight storm. The attackers fought stubbornly, and lost heavily. Two native officers and seven men belonging to the British force were killed, and a native officer and 25 men were wounded. Captain Rich, of the Royal Engineers, was slightly wounded in the arm while blowing up the enemy's towers near Khapak. Abdul Kader, who was sentenced to death on charges of murder and rebellion has been.executed, and his property confiscated. There have been 27 deaths from cholera among the Munster Fusiliers stationed on north-west- frontier of India.
