COURT OF APPEAL

Per Pres3 Association. WELLINGTON, Match 30. The Appeal Court, was opened today. Their Honouns Judges Williams, Denniston, Edwards, Cooper and Chapman were present. Sir Robert Stout wired that he was unable to attend owing to pressure of work in connection witli the Native Commission. Judge Williams presided. Four new cases were added to the list, but none will be taken till to-morrow afternoon.

In re Mooie deceased, "the Court awarded costs £6O both on appeal and peuuon, considering that they had full power to do so, and that this was an instance in which it should be exercised. Leave was given to the Crown to appeal to the Privy Council.
