AWARD OF SCHOLARSHIPS. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, March b\). The Theological Committee of the .iubyterian Church lias awarded the following scholarships to students who pasted .at' matriculation examination in December last:—Yule No. 1 scholarship, £25 a year for three years, R. S. Watson, Feilding; St. Paul's office bearets (Wangauui) scholarship of £25 a year for three years, E. J. Tipler, East Pareora; "Mary scholarship of £2O a year for three years, J. P. White, Pleasant Point; Somerviiie No. 2 scholarship of £2O a year, for three yeats, W. Raff, Dunedin; Auld Lang oyne Club scholarship of £2O a year for three years, J. P. Boyle, Hastings. The committee tyill endeavour to find a scholarship for D. N. MeDiarmid, New PJymout-, who gained 432 marks when he matriculated in 1902. Rev. G. B. Monro, Remuera, has secured a " Remuera" scholarship of £25 a year for three years, which be -wishes assigned to Haiold Peat, iiie committee has agreed to th.vs. It is understood that Mr Monro has raised some otber money for the scholarship fund.
