OAMARU WOOLLEN FACTORY.

OAMARU, December The annual meeting of the Oaniafu Woollen Factory Company was held' tonight, when the directors' report recommending the payment of a dividend for the half year of 3 per cent, on ordinary shares, and 4 per cent, on preferential shares was adopted, making 7 per cent, on the first named and 8 per cent, on the last named fdr the year. The factory had been very busy during the year, but the profits had been affected by the high price of wool. The lower price of wool was expected to assist the factory to larger profits.
