LONDON, July 10. 'Hi'j fourth series of London colonial wool sxllcs opened with fair competition. Merinos, are unchanged, and crossbreds atpar to 5 per cent, dfecline. ;At the wool isales, 8992 balc : s were catalogued, a miscellaneous and inferior selection which . includadl 7420 bales of New Zealand. • There wao a large attendance of Americans, supporting' best merinos and fine crossbreds. Compared; with the May rates, merinos and best "-greasy crossbreds were fully, equal to tho highest' rates; shabbier, and coars-o, crc-ssbreds occasionally declined 5 per cent*. ; slipes were in large supply, fin-:-* best and medium declihed jd, and coarse jd! to Id.
