Subject to any necessary alterations mails will close daily as under: — For Christckurcli, 6 a.m., 12.50 p.m., and 6 p.m. For Wellington and northern ports 12.50 p.m., and 6 p.m. Saturdays. For Oamaru and Waimate, 6 a.m., 11 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Dunedin, 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. For Temuka and Geraldine, 6 a.m., 12.50 p.m., and 6 p.m. The usual winter service to Lake Pukaki, namely, once a week, is resumed from Ist inst., to 31st October. Monday, May 27th. For Australian States, via Bluff, at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 31st. For Australian States, India, China, Straits Settlements.
