ST. JOHN'S V. TIMARU. The match Timaru v. St. John's was plaved on the Elizabeth strwt. courts yesterday afternoon, -'and resulted in a cliaw. The wc.i.t.' was all . that could be'wished for the players, but was a trifle on the cold side for the spectators, of whom there was a. goodly number present. Play was excellent by both teams, the courts, and balls being ■■ on the fast side, and thus making the gamer* very .interesting to watch.
