THOMAS DWAN. Per Press Association. WEKLTNGTON, November 27. Mr Thomas Dwan, senr., an old and respected -resident of New Zealand, died here this aftermbon; aged 79 years. Deceased, who was well known.on West Coast, removed to Wellington, sonfe 30 years ago, and engaged iin journalistic work, subsequently undertaking auctioneering. Having secured a ownpetency, he retired nito private life. Mr Dwan underwent an operation to-day for an internal complaint and succumbed shortly after its being performed.
