THE CHANGE IN OAMARU.

The change from, license to no license was quietly effected here on Saturday night. Two of the. hotels closed' doors at) 6 o'clock, but the rest remained open tU| II o'clock. So far on'y one property has changed hands. Is three other cases tf»e houses have been leased to new tenants am boarding-hotiKes, and in the other seven the previous'licensees carry on as in the past for a while. Two hotel bars in Thames street have been let as shops. KEEN FEELING IN THE SOUTH. , INVERCARGILL, July 1.. v - Invercargill came, under no license at ■lO p.m. 'last night.
