Biddell, S.M., in the Police Court whta a young man named Percy Frederick Bennets was charged with failing to maintain bis mother, Kate Elizabeth Bennets. Mr Brookfield, who appeared for defendant, asked—"Had you any idea that you had a mother named Kate Elizabeth. Bennets," to which witness answered in the negative.
