At a meeting of the Canterbury ftugby L"nion to-night, ihc resolution passed at last meeting lefusing to refund Jo the Xew Zealand Union £4 6s alleged to bt wrongfully spent in entertaining the Xew Zealand team was lesrindcd. and it was resolved to pay the amount tinder protest and to instruct the representatives of the Canterbury Union to bring the matter up at nest meeting «f the Xew Zealand Rugby Union. As a result of the pi«viou» refusal the Canterbury Union was suspended and it was claim id that the Canterbury members of the Xew Zealand team were, therefore, disqualified.
