At the wool sale* 11,087 bales weie offered. There was a universally good selection, chiefly from Queensland and New South Wales new clips. Time was keen general competition, the Americans operating freely for best wool-. Everything was firm at July rates, but September fancy prices were barely maintained. At the tallow sales 12C9 cases were offered, and 365 sold: mutton tine, 34s 3d per cwt; medium, 28s; beef fine, 30s 6d per cwt; medium. 26s 6d. The Aimiican visible supply tf wheat is estimatcd>at 62,605.CC0 bushels.
