.Kittawa, a.s\, from Greymonth, this morning. Waipori, 5.6., from Newcastle, early. Tongariro, s.s., - about Tuesday. Rakanoa, s-s-, from Napier, on Thurss.s., about April 20th.

The Kittawa 13 due this'morning from - Greymonth with 1217,000. feet of timber. The Rakanoa is due next Thursday from Napier, with a cargo of sheep. - The Poherua's outward cargo yesterday included 520 bales of wool, shipped by the New Zealand Shipping Company, for transhipment to a sailer at Wellington. The Storm whicb left Lyttelton for Timarn at 4 p.m. on Thursday, and was ' expected here early yesterday morning, did not arrive tni about 11 .pan. ' She did not come to tie wharf, but was moored to a buoy. ' The Poherua reached Timaru from the south at 6.30 a-m. yesterday, and discharged 46 tons of general cargo. She. leaded a quantity, of produce for Wellington and- the West Coast, and left for Lyttelton last evening.. STRANDING OF A STEAMER. Per Press Association.

The Triangle Bocks are fiat -but rough enough to damage a vessel's bottom, as they are nearly dry? at low water. The-vessel was found to be the Invercargfll from Dnnedin. A strong gale is blowing. She has not been reported here and may have rim into the Blnff for shelter. It is not known here 'whether the light on the rocks was lit-. If not, an incoming ship might mistake a shore light for it.

i Later. The steamer on Triangle Rocks-is the lorercargDl ■which was coming in to wait for the tide on the new river bar. She » not leaking and-it is hoped that she will be got off when the tide makes at about 1 a-m. There was no light- at the rocks as a substitute for the lightship and there is & sharp bend in the channel caused by the rocks.
