Per Press Association. ' AUCKLAND, October 20. At the Hospital Commission to-day : the most important evidence was that of- Dr. Savage; the surgeon': who examined .the. exhumed remains of Wallis White . 3ast month under directions rruni the Government. Dr' Savage explained,. however, that Dr Bedford had not the same opportunities of making a minute examination as himself. Dr Savage expressed dissent from the method of operation followed in White's case, but said that ths error in the diaguosis was one often made by expert surgeons.
