Per Press Association. ' AUCKLAND, October 20. At the Hospital Commission to-day : the most important evidence was that of- Dr. Savage; the surgeon': who examined .the. exhumed remains of Wallis White . 3ast month under directions rruni the Government. His evidence was in conflict 1 in several with the report furnished on. the same subject by Dr. Bedford to the Hospital 'Board. Dr' Savage explained,. however, that Dr Bedford had not the same opportunities of making a minute examination as himself. It was stated that Dr Bedford would be:; called later on to give evidence ia regard to his report. Dr Savage expressed dissent from the method of operation followed in White's case, but said that ths error in the diaguosis was one often made by expert surgeons. He agreed to give a demonstration of the specimens taken from the exhumed body. '■•'-
