FIRES.
W 0 Oil WARE FACTORY DESTROYED. Per Press Association. IXVERCARGILL, September 16. To-night, shortly after 7 o'clock, the woodv.are factory of Mr Charles Lambeth in Tyne street "was practically destroyed by fi'i e with its contents, machines, etc. The night was calm or the whole block of five aid a half acres occupied by similar factories would have been in great danger. The insurances are not ascertainable, but it is certain that Mr Lambeth loses heavily.
