ALLEGED SHEEPSTEALING.
Per Press Association. CARTERTON, September 15. Thomas and Malachi Bond, farmers,.have been committed for trial on a charge of sheep-stealing. The Bonds' property joins Booth's on three sides, and two ewes were found on it with Booth's earmark tampered with by what was alleged to be Bond's mark only recently put on. The ewes had Southdown lambs at foot, and there was said ;to be; none" of' ; this breed on ,BondV; ■land. .They also lutd" Bond's earmark.
