Subject to any alterations, mails wil close as under:— ■ •. Northern ports of New Zealand, daily except Friday, at 3.45 p.m. - Wednesday, September 14th. For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe (specially addressed) via Rio de Janeiro, South America, etc., at 3.45 p.m. Friday, September 16th. For the Australian States (via Wellington), and northern ports of New Zealand, per Waikare, at 6 a.m. Saturday, September 17th. For the Australian States, South Africa, Ceylon, India, and China, also United" Kingdom, per Warrimoo (specially addressed, via Brindisi) at 2 p.m. Due in London, October 30th. Tuesday, September 20th. For the United Kingdom, Continent of - Europe, United States of America, Canada, etc. (via San Francisco), Japan, Hawaii, Philippines and Samoa, per Ventura, as follows :—Money orders, registered letters, book packets, and newspapers at 2.30 p.m.; ordinary letters at.3.40 p.m., and at mail van, north express!, until 4 p.m. Due in London October 21st. The next, direct mail for United Kingdom, South America, etc., per Rangatira, leaves Lyttelton September 14th. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, per Manapouri, close at Auckland on Septem- • jjgy 21st. Mails for Raratonga and Tahiti, per Taviuni, leave Auckland October 4th.
