THE WANGANUI MEETING. Per Press Association. WANGANUI, February 20. The first meeting of the Wanganui and West Coast Rills Association commenced this morning at the Putiki rifle range, the arrangements being under the control of Colonel Watt. Tnere are 54 competitors, including most of the prominent shots on the West Coast.

The second and final day's shooting of the North Otago Rifle Association's meeting was held under pleasant conditions. THE OTAGO MEETING. DUNEDIN, February 20. The Otago Rifle Association's shooting meeting commenced to-day. There are 105 entries for the principal matches. In Hallenstein Match, 300 yards and 500 yards, Corporal Smail, Kaitangata, was first with 68 out of a possible '0; lieutenant Jack, 66; Private Morrison, 60. In the President's Match, 600 yards and 700 vards, Private Sonntag, City Guards, was "first with 61; Trooper McMeikan, Mataura, 60; P.O. Montgomery, Port Navals, 60. TIMARU PORT GUARDS.-

Tie members of the above corps completed firing for tlie New Zealand Clothing Factory's two season aggregate trophv on Wednesday. The conditions were 10 shots at 300 yards, 500 yards, and 600 yards for each season. Colour-Sergeant Stephen, bv consistent shooting, secured the trophy. The following are the highest scores Points.
